Commodore John Rodgers EMS Replacement School

The work follows closely behind work performed in GMP-1 which included demolition of the existing school, site work, retaining walls and building concrete (MEP systems were also included in GMP-1). GMP-2 work consists of construction of a new 119,000 SF elementary and middle school comprised of steel framed superstructure, metal deck, CFMF exterior walls with brick veneer, metal panels and curtainwall. Other building features are new Aluminum Storefront, TPO Roofing System and interior finishes. The Project is designed and shall be constructed to achieve LEED Silver certification. The school will not be occupied during construction.

  • MBE Goal – 30% with subgoals of 11% Woman and 8% African American. We encourage all trade contractors to participate in achieving this goal.
