Little Sisters of Baltimore are celebrating significant checks totaling over $350,000 from BGE Smart Energy Saver’s program. The check was a blessing arriving on the feast day of their foundress, Jeanne Jugan. CAM Construction worked closely with the engineering firm of Spears, Votta, the Little Sisters and BGE, implementing energy efficient equipment during this design build project. This cooperation has yielded significant project savings from grants, rebates and incentives over the past 4 years.
CAM Construction wins Associated Builders and Contractors Award of Excellence for The Owings Mills Learning Center.
The Owings Mills Learning Center, a six-story, LEED Silver, 120,000 square foot building containing a new branch of the Baltimore County Public Library, as well as an expanded location for the Community College of Baltimore, was awarded the Associated Builders and Contractor’s, Award of Excellence.

Marc Munafo is recognized for his tireless leadership to this volunteer organization. As chapter chair, Marc spearheaded initiatives to reach out to the MWBE community. Marc was also involved in the creation of the Maryland Center for Construction Education and Innovation. He continues to serve as an invaluable counselor and resource to ABC on many fronts.
